After years of wilderness hunting I wanted a device to help keep my gun sling from slipping off of my shoulder while wearing a pack. I was unable to find any product commercially available so made the SLINGSAVER to solve this problem.
The SLINGSAVER is a plastic hook that straps onto your pack strap to significantly reduce fatigue from physically holding your gun sling from slipping off of your shoulder, yet you keep quick access to your rifle with no straps or snaps to fumble with for that hard earned shot. Every bit of energy you can save in the high country helps to improve the quality of your hunting experience and increases your chances of success. It will take some getting used too not constantly holding onto your gun sling all day keeping it from slipping off of your shoulder. Your hands will be freed up making traversing difficult terrain much easier.
